Desperados lager beer is anything but ordinary. Brewed in France and famed for rewriting the rules, Desperados shook up the beer world by doing something no one else dared — brewing a lager with tequila flavour. The result? A bold, refreshing, boundary-pushing drink that blends classic beer character with a sweet, citrusy kick. From house parties to festival fields, this is the ultimate party beer Desperados fans turn to when the vibe calls for something different. What does Desperados beer taste like? The unmistakable Desperados beer flavour is what sets it apart. It combines the smooth bitterness of a crisp lager with sweet agave notes and a zesty lemon and lime freshness. The agave-inspired twist adds a subtle sweetness that balances beautifully with the beer base. It’s intense but easy-drinking. Bold without being overpowering. Whether you’re relaxing on the sofa with pizza or turning your living room into a dance floor, Desperados fits the mood. The story behind Desperados Desperados was first brewed in France in 1995 by Brasserie Fischer (now part of a global brewing group). It quickly gained attention as the world’s first beer with an agave flavour twist. A move that challenged traditional brewing norms. From the start, Desperados positioned itself as more than just a beer. It became a symbol of experimentation, nightlife and creative culture. In 1998, the brand began collaborating with a Paris-based artists’ collective, resulting in bold limited-edition bottle designs and creative campaigns that reinforced its rebellious identity. Desperados and party culture Desperados isn’t just a drink, it’s a concept. Over the years, the brand has become synonymous with immersive party experiences, music events and bold artistic expression. Think multi-sensory dance events, vibrating dance floors, 3D projection visuals and creative collaborations. It’s this association with nightlife that has made Desperados lager beer a go-to choice for high-energy occasions.
