Celebrate Oktoberfest at home

Your guide to German beer styles

No Oktoberfest ticket? No problem. Whether you’re raising a stein at home or planning a Bavarian-style BBQ, we’re here to help you bring Oktoberfest vibes to your living room. Discover the best beer styles to sip this season and which Beerwulf kegs pair perfectly with a pretzel.

What is Oktoberfest beer?

Traditionally brewed in March and lagered until autumn, Oktoberfest beers (or Märzen) are smooth, amber-hued lagers with a rich, malty flavour and a crisp finish. Only six breweries in Munich produce the official Oktoberfest beers, but many other breweries craft their own versions to celebrate the season.

While we’re not stocking those exact brews right now, you can still enjoy Oktoberfest style beers that hit all the right notes: cold, flavourful, and ready to pour from your favourite Beerwulf keg or Oktoberfest beer barrel.
