Affligem Blonde is a classic Belgian abbey beer, brewed with respect for centuries-old traditions developed by the monks of Affligem Abbey. With an alcohol content of 6.7%, this beer offers a perfectly balanced taste that is smooth and full-bodied, with a refreshing finish. It combines a rich malt base with subtle fruity and spicy notes, creating a harmonious beer experience loved by many.
The blonde beer has a brilliant, golden yellow colour with a generous head. The taste is complex, with hints of ripe fruit such as peach and apricot, complemented by a touch of honey and a slight spiciness of clove. The secondary fermentation method gives this Belgian beer an extra layer of depth and a lively, sparkling texture. The slight bitterness in the aftertaste keeps the beer refreshing and drinkable.
Affligem Blonde is an ideal beer to pair with dishes such as grilled chicken, creamy cheeses, fish and salads. Thanks to its rich, full flavour and aromatic character, the beer is perfect for both special dinners and relaxed drinks.
